Recruiting: Could McMillan be the guy after Javaris?

Jamelle McMillan, the son of Portland Trailblazers coach Nate McMillan could the heir apparent if Javaris Crittenton were to bolt after his freshman season to the NBA. You can also bet on it that Jarrett Jack will be helping Paul Hewitt get this talent to the flats. McMillan is ranked the #70 upcoming Senior in the nation by Rivals.com, and is quickly moving up the list. Jamelle apparently was going to commit to NC State, but when Herb Sendek went West it changed everyhing. Outside of NC State, Arizona State, Clemson and Georgia Tech have offered, while Illinois and Virginia are also recruiting him. McMillan did state that he was very interested in Georgia Tech and loved the coaching staff, including Paul Hewitt.

"They've made a great impression," McMillan said. "They've presented the school very well and I like what I have seen.

"The coaches are the nicest guys that I have talked to. The education is very good there. I like what I have heard. They've made it a place that I am very much considering."

The future looks brighter everyday, as Paul Hewitt does his recruiting magic.
